Digitalisation: a lifestyle!

I browse and surf, blog, skype, facebook, spotify, chat, I’m thinking about twittering and I’m Linked In. At least 60 per cent of my life has been digitalised. Barely six years ago I was an apprehensive and reluctant novice when it came to computers...

Hemels Academy

learning by doing

As a company, expertise and experience are not things you should keep to yourself; they are meant to be shared. And this is why, in 2008, we decided to start up the Hemels Academy: an in-house training institute for customers, prospects and employees.

Now this might sound a little dry and detached, but actually nothing could be further from the truth. Hemels Academy arranges inspirational seminars with guest speakers and workshops for our teams.

Developments and trends in our line of business are pivotal to these sessions, as are the importance of vision and the advisory role that we play. During the learning process refreshing new concepts are conceived for clients and prospects alike, out-of-the-box and solution-oriented. Meanwhile, junior employees are fired up with the expertise and enthusiasm that will mould them into worthy “sparring partners” for our clients.

As one can imagine, Hemels Academy serves a professional but above all practical purpose. The material in our workshops and coaching sessions is fully compatible with the practical situation. We are firm believers in the creativity effect – or perhaps we should say: the effect of creativity – in both print and online. We do all this both for our clients and with our clients, who are always welcome to take a peep into our kitchen. Marketing communication objectives are key to the whole process.

We can provide workshops and clinics on just about every facet of this business: from branding to cross media and from editorial to picture editing. After the necessary consultation with our clients and prospects we can develop either one-off seminars, or customised programmes that are perfectly attuned to just about every conceivable communication need. These training sessions can be given at Hemels’ offices or, if required, on location at clients’ premises.
